The Beginning
Pirates and far-rim encounters were all too familiar to the two founders. With criminal activity on the rise, and the ever expanding systems pushing out to the far reaching corners, policing these new zones had become an issue for the military forces and private security firms.
Accepting a contract from a social hub, the ship set off in a Freelancer, to a moon mining facility, a cargo of food and water for the colony. Upon the last stretch pirates disabled the vessel and were attempting to board, the pirate ship side-by-side, sparks started to fly as they begin to cut through, at that point a near-by fighter-class ship hailed the transport ‘‘Brace for impact’‘, the fighter appeared from behind a rogue asteroid floating in front of the vessel, striking the pirates boarding tube, the criminals being flung out into open space, the remainder of the enemy ship floated into a nearby ice field before being impaled by an ice-shard and being disintegrated.
